Creativity and digital toxins

What a consistency, I wrote my first blog on Jan 7, 2009 and this is the second one, coming on 27th March 2014.. J. Not that I didn't have any motivation earlier to write a blog but, thanks to heavy everyday dose of digital toxins, my creativity got buried deep down inside me. I started missing it off late and finally, the time came when in the middle of the night I woke up, revived my blog spot account. Not sure if   this is what was missing from my life, making me miserable. Can’t tell unless I try out everything which was thrown out of my life in past 5-6 years.

Past six extremely eventful years, humph… well, not that it was bad time, but it was full of ups and downs. Learned through experience that you can't have your cake and eat it too. Eventually, getting to do what I always wanted to do and freedom from the corporate clutches is giving me a pretty good feelings. People think that since I’m on my own now I will have all the time in this world. Well, that’s a dream I’m working towards. Anyways, let me not deviate from the core topic of Creativity, which I mentioned got brutalized by the digital onslaught. This blog is my first step towards reviving it, let us see how much I succeed in this. Would love to hear from the readers of this blog if they think digitization has killed the natural abilities and creativity of people?

In my opinion, though technology usually assists, and it is a good source of information, but overdose of information leaves people baffled and overwhelmed. It also kills the free time one has and shrinks the attention spans thus silently becomes one of the contributors to the increasing rage among the people and rage is one of the notorious creativity killers..
